Marie has been in clinical practice since 2008, providing both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to diagnose and assist patients with their health concerns.

Marie travelled and studied at numerous hospitals and medical clinics within Taiwan, South Korea, China and Australia to update her clinical knowledge and research on ancient Chinese medical books. Marie enjoys cooking, the tea ceremony and oriental calligraphy.

Marie combines Chinese herbs, acupuncture and moxibustion with cupping, diet and lifestyle advice in her practice to help her patients manage issues such as reproductive health problems, musculoskeletal pain, digestive imbalance, stress related conditions, and sleep disturbances.

Marie is registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia as an Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner and Chinese Herbal Dispenser. As well as being a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), which is the leading national professional association in Australia for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners. Marie is also registered with most private health funds

Training in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine

Marie has a longstanding keen interest in health and healing. Originally enrolled and completed in nursing in the beginning of 2000s. Marie had her first tastes of Chinese medicine when she tried acupuncture for her own health issue, the results sparked an interest in understanding Chinese medicine and learning more about what it had to offer and enrolled the school of Chinese medicine in Sydney. Marie graduated Univ. in Chinese medicine in 2008 included an internship training at the TCM Jiangsu Provincial Hospital in Nanjing China, and extended her clinical skills training at the renowned Oriental Medicine Kyung-Hee University Hospital in Seoul Korea, where acupuncture and herbal medicine skills were further developed. Since then she has continued to develop her skills with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in Sydney.

The holistic philosophy and approach of Chinese medicine resonated with Marie. Her studies into became a lifelong passion for learning more about Chinese medicine and using her knowledge to help people seeking a different approach to health and healing to have a better and healthier lifestyle.
